Lee 197x300 Testimonials“Hey Mary, Well, I’ve had this letter on my mind for a while and yesterdays doctor’s appointment was the proverbial “straw” I suppose. When the nurse took my weight, I knew I had lost some weight since my last appointment but was shocked to learn that I am currently the lightest I’ve ever been since starting with this Doc nearly 7 years ago! I can’t thank you enough for all the information and advice you’ve given me. I started this journey in January 2010 at 213lbs. I’m about 1/2inch short of being 6ft. tall so 213 on my frame was not pleasant! It’s now July 2010 and I weighted in this morning at 182lbs! For about 3 months I was in a friendly competition with my father in law to see who could lose the most weight. He took some of my/your advice and has lost 31 lbs. himself! When people ask me how I lost the weight, the answer is pretty simple: I eat good protein, limit sodium, drink lots of water, no mayo on anything (including avoiding summertime mac-and- potato salads), and only eat cheese when the meal requires it! I now have a mental bank of what I can eat in a hurry or on the road which was one of my biggest problems. A little free weights to build some muscle and I have 2 boys under the age of 4 so cardio isn’t typically a problem for me. I can’t tell you how good it feels to feel good! I truly can’t thank you enough! You keep it simple and that’s what worked for me!”
